User Guide
Everything you need to know about using the InciSioN Ghana member platform — from registering as a member to participating in events and courses.
How to Register as a Member
- 1Visit the homepage and click the "Become a Member" or "Register Now" button.
- 2Fill in the registration form with your full name, email, professional level, institution, and contact details.
- 3Choose your membership tier — Full Member or Full Membership Plus.
- 4Submit the form. You'll receive a welcome email once your account is created.
- 5An administrator will review and activate your membership. You'll be notified by email when approved.
- 6Once activated, log in using your email and password to access your member dashboard.
Logging In & Two-Step Verification
- 1Click "Member Login" on the homepage and enter your email and password.
- 2If you've enabled two-step verification, you'll be asked to enter a 6-digit code sent to your email or WhatsApp.
- 3Enter the code to complete sign-in. You'll stay verified for 12 hours before being asked again.
- 4You can enable or disable two-step verification from the Account tab on your dashboard.
Your Member Dashboard
- 1The Overview tab shows your profile, membership status, activity trends, and engagement metrics.
- 2The Account tab shows your membership details, digital ID card, upgrade options, and security settings.
- 3Upload a profile picture and banner image by clicking the camera icon on each.
- 4Edit your bio from the Bio card on the overview tab.
Events & RSVP
- 1Visit the Events page to see upcoming meetings, seminars, workshops, and conferences.
- 2Click an event to view details and RSVP your attendance.
- 3After attending an event, you can submit feedback to help improve future events.
- 4Event reminders are sent automatically before each event.
Documents & Resources
- 1The Documents page contains guidelines, templates, reports, and policy documents.
- 2Browse by category or pillar (Advocacy, Education, Research).
- 3Click any document to view or download it.
Community & Networking
- 1The Community page lets you connect with fellow members.
- 2View the member leaderboard to see top contributors.
- 3Share posts, comment, and engage with the community.
- 4Use the Institutional Map to find members near you.
Gallery
- 1Browse photo albums from past events and activities.
- 2Admins can create albums and upload photos for members to view.
Shop & Payments
- 1Visit the Shop to browse InciSioN Ghana merchandise and resources.
- 2Add items to your cart and pay securely via Paystack.
- 3You'll receive a payment receipt by email after each purchase.
- 4Membership upgrades (Full Membership Plus) are also processed through Paystack.
Training & Courses
- 1The Training page lists available courses and learning resources.
- 2Enroll in courses and track your progress from your dashboard.
- 3Complete courses to earn certificates of completion.
Engagement & Participation
- 1The Engagement page lets you RSVP to events, volunteer for projects, respond to surveys, and refer colleagues.
- 2Your participation is tracked and contributes to your engagement metrics.
- 3Refer colleagues using the referral panel — you'll be credited when they join.
Membership Tiers & Renewal
- 1Full Member: standard membership with access to all core features.
- 2Full Membership Plus: premium tier with additional benefits — upgrade from your dashboard.
- 3Memberships are renewed annually. You'll receive reminder emails one month and two weeks before your renewal date.
- 4Renew by completing the payment from the reminder email or your dashboard.
Account Security
- 1Enable two-step verification from the Account tab for extra security.
- 2Choose email or WhatsApp (if configured) for code delivery.
- 3You can terminate and delete your account from the Account tab at any time.
- 4Administrators can enforce two-step verification for specific users if needed.
